Dear Self,

When playing World of Warcraft, you must adhere to the following rules:
  1. Set either a designated amount of play time (e.g., 2 hours) or a designated stopping time (e.g., 9:30pm) every time you play. Even if you have the whole day free to play, plan a break. Lunch, if nothing else.
  2. Set an alarm on your iPhone to go off at your chosen stopping time.
  3. When the alarm goes off, you must ACTUALLY STOP playing. This means:
    1. finish your current action (i.e., the current quest--NOT all the currently active quests, NOT the current quest-chain--or the bit of training you are doing, or checking your mail, etc.)
    2. find a safe place
    3. EXIT THE GAME.

Only 8 days into playing, and you are already having time management issues. Nip this in the bud, self.
