For all the times you wanted to write yourself a note; whether to remind yourself of something, scold yourself, laugh over something, share something, or just saying "Dear Self...". Perhaps you will make someone else wiser, or at least smile. Based off the LJ community of the same name.

We are the community where you can leave amusing, sad, gentle, prodding, venting, today-I-learned, I-hate-life, I-love-life, my-life-sucks, I-need-to-stop-doing-this notes; whatever kind of notes to self you need, we're there to listen. And you might just find a kindred spirit along the way.

It should go without saying, but please note, we are a friendly and safe space. You are welcome to vent and use whatever language you need in your Note to Self, though if it might be triggering or not necessarily appropriate for all audiences, we recommend the use of a cut tag.

While supportive comments are welcomed and often a wonderful part of the Note to Self community, any destructive, hurtful, or sexist/racist/ableist/other-ist comments will not be tolerated. They go against the entire spirit of Dreamwidth and are divisive and painful. This is your warning.

Thinly veiled community (or self) promotions will be deleted with extreme prejudice. (There's a comm for that, kids! Go to dw_community_promo for comms, promoting for individuals, and dw_feed_promo for feeds.)
